Traditionally falling near the beginning of May, our huge Annual Langley Meadows Community Garage Sale gives participants a great reason to clean out their garages, attics, storage sheds and closets while providing the opportunity to get acquainted with the neighbours. Residents are invited to hold garage sales at their homes, join up with the folks next door to hold block sales, or rent a table (for just $10) at the school.
For the past few years this popular event has been sponsored by the Langley Meadows Community Association along with local Realtor, Lindsay Standell – Royal LePage Wolstencroft and draws people in to shop from all over the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley.
Lindsay provides maps and signage, and extensive free advertising for the event and sellers keep the cash from everything they sell – it’s that easy! The “monster” Meadows Sale will be held, rain or shine and participation grows every year! On the day of the event… be sure to drop by Langley Meadows School at 2244 Willoughby Way for maps, concessions, washrooms, fun kid stuff and more!
